Järnbrott Final - Gamla Järnbrott Mystery Cache

iller: Det har nu gått exakt två år sedan denna cache och mina övriga cacher i Järnbrott publicerades. Tack för alla besök och fina loggar under dessa två år! Nu är det dags att arkivera serien och lämna plats för andra cacher.

På grund av dåligt väder, mörker och regn kommer jag inte att plocka in cacherna direkt utan gör det undan för undan, men senast i mellandagarna hoppas jag ha hunnit plocka in samtliga cacher i serien.

Exactly two years has passed since this cache and my other caches in the Järnbrott series were published. It is now time to archive and leave the space for other caches. Thanks for all the visits and nice logs!

[SWE] Detta är finalen i en serie cacher i området Järnbrott i västra Göteborg. För att kunna hitta cachen måste du besöka alla övriga cacher i serien för att hitta ledtrådar till denna cache.

[ENG] This is the final cache in a series of caches in the area Järnbrott in the western part of Göteborg. To be able to find this cache you must visit all the other caches in the series to find hints to this cache.

Gamla Järnbrott
Gamla Järnbrott när det var nybyggt. Rena rama landet runt omkring!

Gamla Järnbrott bygges på femtiotalet enligt den tidens ideal med alla hustyper och ett vackert torg mitt i "byn". Norr om Järnbrott där Flatås idag ligger låg på femtiotalet Göteborgs luftvärnskår som först 1962 flyttade till Kviberg och lämnade plats för bostadsområdet Flatås. De flesta av hyreslägenheterna i Järnbrott är tvåor och en hel del har bott här sedan området byggdes. Medelåldern är hög på sina ställen och t.ex. i min trappuppgång som delas av sex lägenheter finns det tre rullatorer! Hyreslägenheterna ägs av Bostadsbolaget och Poseidon och de ligger ganska stor vikt vid en trevlig utemiljö. Många boende är också ute och påtar i rabatterna själva och bidrar till blomsterprakten på sommaren. Här bor jag själv sedan drygt 10 år.
Koordinaterna för cachen leder dig inte till cachen utan istället till en gata med det konstiga namnet Bildradiogatan. Vad en bildradio är för något känner jag inte till men jag antar att det var en misslyckad uppfinning från televisionens barndom. För att hitta cachen behöver du istället ha besökt övriga cacher i serien för att få de rätta koordinaterna samt ledtråden. GPS-mottagningen är lite svajig vid gömman men ledtråden bör kunna leda dig rätt. Cachen är en 1 liter Lock&Lock-burk med plats för en del bytessaker. Vid cachen finns även ett FTF-pris som jag tror kommer att komma till bra användning för den som hittar det!

Gamla Järnbrott was built in the fifties according to the leading principles of that time with all types of houses and a nice town square in the middle of the "village". North of Järnbrott where Flatås is today was on the fifties the location of Göteborgs luftvärnskår that didn't move to Kviberg until 1962 and then left space for the residential area Flatås. Most of the rental appartments in Järnbrott are two room appartments and a lot of the inhabitants have been living here since Järnbrott was built. The avarage age is high in some places and e.g. in the staircase to my appartment that is shared by six appartments there are three rollators! The rental appartments are owned by Bostadsbolaget and Poseidon and they care quite a lot about providing a nice surrounding environment. A lot of the inhabitants are also out poking in the flower-beds themselves and contribute to the floral spendour in the summer. Here is where I live myself since more than 10 years.
The coordinates for the cache will not lead you to the cache but instead to a street with the funny name "Bildradiogatan" ("Picture-radio street"). I don't know what a "Bildradio" is but I guess it was some kind of failed invention from the early ages of television. To be able to find the cache you should instead have visited all other caches in the series to get the correct coordinates and the hint. The GPS reception is a bit bad at the hiding place but the hint should be guide you there. The cache container is a 1 litre Lock&Lock container with space for some trading items. At the cache there is a also an FTF price that I think will come to good use for the the one who finds it!
