This is an amazing 800-1000 year old Rata tree that has grown around a rimu tree. Try the loop track while you are there for an enjoyable walk that takes about 40 minutes
Currently they are building a deck around the tree so it's a bit of a mess but you can still access the cache so if in the area still pop by
