Find the Aare cube at the source of the Aare river.
This is a terrain 2 because part of the easy wanderweg has been washed away and should be carefully walked for only 50m. The rest of the 20 minute walk from the car park at Oberaarsee to the cube is easy (not for push prams).
Drive to Oberaarsee at top of Grimsel Pass. Take the "Panoramastrasse Oberaar". The road to the Oberaarsee from Grimsel is open between 0 and 10 minutes past every hour. The same road back from Oberaarsee to Grimsel is open between 30 and 40 minutes past each hour.
Park at 2300m and take the path left over the dam towards the glacier (Aare source).
The "Aare cube" can't be missed. Here in the area you will find the cache on the hill by some large red stone.
