How Geocaching Works
Small Play-Doh container that can be found in summer, winter, whenever.
Pope Farm Park was the first park I ever visited after we moved to Wisconsin from San Diego, and it is a great place to learn about glaciers (as well as picking up multiple caches)!
For long stays at the park, there are main parking areas off Blackhawk and Old Sauk (less than 1/2 mile from cache). However, there is a smaller turn-off near the cache.
Small Play-Doh container that can be found in summer, winter, whenever.
The Town of Middleton purchased the Pope farm from the Art Pope family in 1999, after public meetings at which Town of Middleton residents gave overwhelming approval to its purchase. The Town purchased 145 acres of land, of which 105 acres formally became “Pope Farm Park.”
