A small pill bottle is hidden near the banks of Rowlett Creek in
Springfield Park not too far from the world famous “Spinning
Wheel”. At certain times of the year there could be a lot of
fishermen on the banks catching that elusive Sandbass.
Since all of our caches are named after songs, we leave you with
the lyrics to “Take me to the River” by Talking Heads.
I don't know why I love her like I do
All the changes you put me through
Take my money, my cigarettes
I haven't seen the worst of it yet
I wanna know that you'll tell me
I love to stay
Take me to the river, drop me in the water
Take me to the river, dip me in the water
Washing me down, washing me down

July 15 by The Jumping Beans (385 found) Wow - talk about still, humid air back in here! TFTC - SL.
[view this log] | July 15 by EDubya (1030 found) Near the creek there was no air circulating. It was like being in a sauna. Was glad to get past the p/i, briars, and mosquitos to finally grab the cache. TNLNSL. Thanks.
[view this log] | June 16 by PT_Tex (833 found) Nice walk in the park.
[view this log] | May 30 by apereira (54 found) nice cache...but be aware of the thorns
[view this log] | May 15 by Guido71 (2805 found) Returned to the river for another look. It was a little muddy in there after all the rains the past few days. But that didn't stop me from going after another smiley. At least I hoped it would be since I was attempted to erase a dnf here. This time I walked right up to gz and spotted within minutes. TFTC.
