Welcome to The Ames Travel(bug) Lodge. We hope you enjoy your stay. We are a friendly establishment, much larger than a normal motel but not as glamorous as a hotel. We feature a relaxing rustic setting with spacious accomodations, hence the lodge designation. There are numerous travelers at the start of our journey and hope to be the recipient of many more. Stop by and visit us, we are located approximately 1 mile west of exit 113 off Interstate 35. We are not hard to find - look for the blue building with the red roof and the white sign on the side. Our doors are always open - so don't be afraid to stop. You may even be able to talk to the landlord.
