Kyrkan uppfördes på slutet av 1100-talet och var Nittorp församlings kyrka i 650 år.

The church was built in the late 1100s and was Nittorp parish church in 650 years.
The cache is a 1.5-dl medicine bottle.
Nittorps by var under lång tid pastoratets centrum.
Ruinen visar att kyrkan har varit stor.
Den revs i mitten av 1800-talet, då den nuvarande kyrkan i Nittorp tog i bruk.
Varje år hålls här en gudstjänst på midsommardagen. Kaffe serveras då i sockenstugan, på andra sidan vägen.
Nittorps village was a long time the center of the parish.
The ruins show that the church has been a large building.
It was demolished in the mid 1800's, when the present church in Nittorp was brought into use.
Every year here is a church service on Midsummer Day. Coffee is served in the the old house, across the road.
