Located within the Rockaway River WMA near Longwood Lake. Short hike to cache site with open woods and possibly damp or muddy due to sesonal weather.
Park off of Blue Rd at the end of the lake at either the lot before the wooden bridge or go to the 2nd lot taking the road to the right at the green sign and steel gate over the bridge. Cache container is of the small size placed inside another with log book and small trade items. This is a new hiding technique for me in 2005 and can be tricky to locate. Cache is visible at the right angle and there is no need to move anything. Cache is off the ground and in a easy searching spot, no need to get all tangled up. I had fun with this one. Treequest
