Geocache Description:

I heard about a Curse of the FTF series set in USA while listening to the Podcacher Podcast recently.

Guidelines for this series are below:

1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (The Curse of the FTF #) within 1 month ... Otherwise the curse will prevent you from ever getting another FTF again!!! Muhahahahahahahaha!

2. You can only be a FTF for this series once. This spreads the FTF love around, and gives others a chance to play along.

3. Cache can be any type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.), but I do ask that:
a) you set it in Dorset and
b) it is possible for a wheelchair user to get to the cache site.

4. You must include this set of guidelines in your listing for the series, and include the list of all who have been cursed before you.

Who will be the first????????

With this cache going live on New Years Day, it will be interesting to see how many we can get in the series by New Years Eve! I hope you will play along with the spirit of this and keep the series alive.

By way of clarification, there is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Everyone should log their find, and hopefully the FTF person will play along and place another cache, but it is in no way a requirement for logging your find.

FTF Honours go to Octopus & Bear ... who set Curse of the FTF Dorset #2 ~ Broadstone N.R. GC1KC4Q to prevent them from being cursed ;o)

GC1KC4Q was FTF'd by mega moo who set Curse of the FTF Dorset #3 ~ The Yellow Brick Road GC1M0ZH to prevent them from being cursed ;o)

GC1M0ZH was FTF'd by Fudgeman who set Curse of the FTF Dorset # 4 ~ Winton Rec GC1MCGY to prevent them from being cursed ;o)

GC1MCGY was FTF'd by Red Squirrel uk ... who will be cursed on 4th March, unless of course ...

Who will be next?

The first cache in this Curse series is set on Upton Heath, which is an SSSI and the general cache location affords pleasant views across the town and harbour of Poole, across to the Purbeck Hills and on a clear day you can actually see Corfe Castle.

This cache has been set with the permission of the D.W.T. Reserve Warden. This is an extended trial and others should not assume blanket permission has been given.

Dogs should be kept on the paths from April to September, and in season keep an eye for reptiles and creepy crawlies! All six of the native British reptiles inhabit this area.

The cache is a green decon container, and an agile wheelchair user should, just about be able to reach it.
Please take care when retrieving and replacing the cache. This is a high muggle area, so please ensure the cache is back, out of sight before you leave. The difficulty level has been set with this in mind.

The cache contains three new cache containers, a pin badge, a couple of keyrings, three DG&GD pathtags and a log book and pencil together with a stash sheet. So room only for small swag, coins and small TBs! Please trade fairly or TNLN!,
