Geocache Description:

This cache is a small cammoed tupperware on the south side of Highway 18.

Bonus Benchmark. After you find the cache, be sure to find the benchmarks it was named after. Y 325 (EV1657) is a 1934 USC&GS bench mark, 115 feet E (93°) from cache. POINT (EV3534), 98 feet E (104°) from cache; POINT RM 1 (EV3535), 77 feet E (103°) from cache; and Y 325 (serving as Reference Mark 2) make up a 1965 USC&GS triangulation station. In 1983 the NGS added POINT RM 3, 113 feet E (102°) away from the cache, to the station. Find all 4 disks. Don’t forget to log in your separate benchmark finds at EV1657, EV3534, and EV3535.

Apple Valley Cache ‘n’ Benchmark Series. Every cache in this series is within just a few feet of at least one historical benchmark. You can log in a find for the cache and log in a separated find for the benchmark. Be sure to find them all. Create a pocket query or download a Google Earth KLM file of this series.
