Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Northwest of the island of Tenerife.
Approach via TF 373 from Icod de los Vinos or Santiago del Teide.

Begin at waypoint "Start". There you may park your car and start the hike, you can also drive that gravel road but it will not suitable for all kind of cars.

If you walk turn left at waypoint "forest path" and follow that track uphill. After a few hundred metres the path will lead you back on the gravel road - the path is somewhat strenous to walk but more idylic to hike on.

Then just follow the gravel road to the recreational area, here's the parking for those who drive up.

This cache based on an spontaneous idea as we enjoyed the Las Arenas Cache very much we placed this micro/cache as a kind off add-on on top of the volcano (1405m alt.)

As there's highly ersosive material please use only the path along the ridge uphill. It will be a bit difficult to walk on so appropiate shoes and some personal fitness should be taken into consideration.

Maintenance will be done by our relatives (visiting Tenerife twice a year) as well as by ourselves (visiting the island on a regular basis).
