This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

Some time ago I had a cache near a helicopter at this spot called Varney Air. The San Carlos airport asked that it be removed, as it was too close to the airport, so that was that. In some ways it was just as well. The cache recommended that you go inside the nearby establishment and find out what Varney Air was and what it became. Suprisingly few people bothered to do so (thank you to those who did, you know who you are.)

Anyway, I've decided to place a new cache here that makes you go inside and look around. You can only access the required information during business hours, 7am-10pm. All of the answers are available in one spot and the final cache is a short drive away. No purchase is necessary. The helicopter is still there, if you like that sort of thing.

Once at the posted coordinates, enter and find a display bearing the same name as the name of the cache. You need to look here and just to the right for your answers.

1. What year did Silas bring his school to Redwood City? - answer is ABAC.

2. How many nurses were under the direction of Ellen Church? - answer is D.

3. How many pounds of mail did Leon Cuddeback carry? - answer is CE.

4. How much did it cost to go from Seattle to Los Angeles in 1926? - answer is $AFG.

5. C + 1 = H.

The final cache is at N 37° FA.GBA   W 122° AE.BGC and is not on or too close to the airport grounds.

Good parking can be found on a cul-de-sac at N 37° FA.FHC   W 122° AE.DBG.
