Dear George,

In the past you've helped the institute find many lost genuine imitation simulated ancient artifacts. Today we ask for your help again. We need you to find the Gold Coffin of the Merry Knoll people.

Located in what is now a public park in Brookfield, the coffin was hidden long ago to prevent it from being stolen by the Grassy Knoll people, the Merry Knoll's bitter enemies. The coffin can be found at the end of a 4 leg journey. This ordeal was created so no one person would know the complete route to the coffin. Follow the legs and help us to find and document this priceless treasure.

Supply your own ground transport. I've arranged for a guide to meet you at N43 01.427 W88 05.567. You'll both proceed on foot from there. If she is not there when you arrive, assume the worst and go on without her to the end of the first leg at N43 01.401 W88 05.778.

The Merry Knoll people were among the first to use aluminum, so that may help you to find what you're looking for. Our research has information about what you'll find at the end of each leg:

  • Leg 1: A meteorite?
  • Leg 2: Tree toe jam.
  • Leg 3: Missing links?
  • Leg 4: The gold coffin.

No need to recover anything. Leave nothing but documentation.

Good Luck Geo., and be careful.

Sincerely,

Dr. I. N. Atree
Institute of Lost Things
