This cache is located at the Caswell Tennis Center. Some quick
facts - Caswell Tennis Center is a set of public tennis courts run
by the City of Austin, and is the oldest operating tennis facility
in Texas. It was built in 1946, and features 9 clay courts in
excellent condition.
This is a small cache, about 10 inches long and about 4 inches
wide. I have stocked it with small trade items: a usb-powered led
light, some #2 pencils (for you student types), golf pencils (for
the disc-golfers), a square eraser and some pencil-topper erasers
(again, for the student types), waterproof matches (for the campy
types), a tire patch kit (for the bicyclists), and some
highlighting pens (for you teacher/student/bookworm types). Also in
the original contents of the cache is the travel bug Roger Rollerblade, which I picked up in the
Waterloo Park Cache.
The cache is not inside the court facilities, so don't go in
looking for it. This should be a good cache for day or night,
though there is considerable muggle activity during the day here,
so stay stealthy. You'll need to be about 5 feet tall or better to
be able to reach this one.
