Geocache Description:

An easy 4WD trip will take you to the cache approach. An easy scramble, but scramble nonetheless, will take you to the cache itself.

The following extract is taken from the log of Scarinian. I had intended to hide the The Sacred Kettle of Riyadh under a rock underhang but as I approached the chosen site, a Deacon Gazelle sprang out and dashed straight up the hill. Recalling the wise words of the Old Widow Hag of Kingdom who had said, “Never underestimate the Deacon Gazelle for it will always lead you from danger”. But what danger? Still I did as I was bade and scaled the hill following the Deacon but not before drawing The Enchanted Sword of Scalim. What a beast the Deacon is, with its open hoof, it climbed at a mighty pace. Quickly I followed it to the top of the hill and there in the distance I could see a fleet of longships from Zenda. A mighty battle was approaching and so I went to one end of the summit and found an ideal hole in which to hide the Sacred Kettle. For once, there was no need to drop off the top to look under rock ledges. I put the kettle in the hole and hid it from sight by stone slabs found from round about.
