In an ammo can on Skagit Island. You'll need a kayak or beachable boat to reach the island.
One of the oldest geocaches in Washington State. It is still the original ammo can and log book!
This geocache was placed by North by Northwest in 2001 and adopted by NeWa a few years later.
Caution; Currents that can upset your day (and your boat) if you don't plan ahead. The cache is right along the trail that circles the island. You will be rewarded with fabulous views and wild flowers in the spring. I have never seen it but apparently there was a porcupine here at one time. Hence the name Porky's Cache. The ammo can is at a really nice lunch spot on the west side of the island.
