Geocache Description:

Note: The final cache may not be accessible when there is snow on the ground.

This is a three-stop cache. The coordinates listed will provide you with the answers to fill in A, B & C in the coordinates for the second stop.

At the second stop you will be able to answer questions D, E, F & G which will provide the coordinates for the final cache location.

After completing your journey you will know more about the work of the Brussels Lions club and the history of the Namur National Historic District.

It is about a 2.6 mile drive West from the initial coordinates to the 2nd stop and a 1.9 mile drive North-West to the final cache.

There is a parking area at the initial coordinates that will make a great starting point for a 9-mile round-trip bike ride to the final cache and back. With a little planning you can hit 10 additional caches & Earthcache GC3FDF along the way back to the start.

At the initial coordinate site: What year was the Brussels Lions Club formed?

A = the 2nd number in the year

B = the 3rd number in the year

C = the 4th number in the year

Coordinates to the 2nd site: N44 44.CBC W087 3A.A82

At the 2nd stop:

D = the 3rd number in the “years” the Belgians settled in the region

E = the 2nd number in the year a fire storm swept through the area

F = the number of letters in the 4th town with a European name

G = the number of letters in the 3rd unique food Coordinates to the final cache site:

N44 44.E55 W087 G0.F1D

We hope you enjoy the journey and be sure to sign the log at the final cache. The cache is big enough to trade Travel Bugs. The final cache was initially stocked with a framed certificate for FTF (see photo), two Travel Bugs just waiting to start their journeys and lots of kid SWAG for trading. Both kids and adults should enjoy the final location.

Congratulations to Das Hummel for FTF.

PS. Don’t worry about anyone cutting grass/doing yardwork nearby. They are not Muggles, they know what is going on. Feel free to smile and wave at them. One of them is the property owner & CO.
