This is a small traditional cache located near Swakeleys House in Ickenham.
Swakeleys House is a Jacobean Mansion which was once visited by Samuel Pepys and is mentioned in his diary.
Parts of the house are open to the public on a few Sundays a year. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Opening Dates for 2007 are: Sunday 1 April, Sunday 1 July, Sunday 7 October, from 11.00am - 4.00pm.
Please note that Swakeleys House is private property and only open to the public on a few days each year. You do not need to enter the grounds of Swakeleys House or of the local tennis clubs in order to find the cache.
Parking is available in residential streets.
The cache is a 1 litre clip and lock box containing a log book and pen and other small items.
Please ensure the lid is replaced securely and re-hide the cache carefully.
