Geocache Description:

Do not move this cache to where you think it should be!!
Prominently perched above Skyline Boulevard, the octagonal stone tower was erected as a memorial to the late Bert Enger, a native of Norway and a successful furniture dealer. Built of native bluestone in 1939, the 60 foot high octagonal observation tower has an observation deck on each of its 6 stories. Its bright green beacon can be seen at night from far out into the lake and the from the south shore area.

The tower gained international celebrity in June 1939, when Norway's Crown Prince Olav attended its dedication ceremony, paying tribute the legacy of philanthropy by a man he deemed the ``merchant prince.'' At the time of his death, Enger bequeathed two-thirds of his sizable estate to the city, now known as Enger Park and Golf Course.

The cache is in an ammo can hid by rocks and logs. Sorry, no dogs allowed in the park.

So many newbies visit this cache and don`t know how to log a TB or Geocoin. Please dont leave one here. I am feeling guilty of all the ones that have gone missing.
