Log only micro near a popular paved jogging/walking trail. Bring your own writing utensil. Watch out for muggles. Difficulty is a 1 if using the clue, I think.
This cache is hidden across the street from what used to be a Data General research and development facility.
Data General was one of the early microcomputer companies, producing one of the first 16-bit machines, the NOVA. Steve Wozniak, Apple's creator, hung pictures of the NOVA on his walls as a student and used them as inspiration for the first Apple design.
This RTP center opened in 1976 and was featured prominently in Tracy Kidder’s 1981 Pulitzer Prize-winning book "The Soul of a New Machine". The book documents the struggles, challenges, and extreme pressure of creating a new 32-bit architecture designed to compete with DEC's VAX machines.
In late 1999, Data General was acquired by EMC, largely for its CLARiiON disk arrays. This cache allows Data General to live on forever (or at least until muggled).
First To Find prize was claimed by Hi_Dude98 in 22 minutes.
