This is located just off the Southgate trail to the top of Mt. Diablo, near a spot that offers a glimpse of downtown San Francisco on a clear day.
The original cache was trashed, so it has been replaced by a micro enclosed in a larger, naturally camouflaged enclosure. This is admittedly a rather devilish hide, but after all this is Mt. Diablo. Twist open the top to open the cache.
One nearby parking spot is at N37 52.275 W121 55.530. The cache is only a ten-minute hike from here.
