We placed a cache here to bring attention to the gatehouse..we have lived in Nashua our whole lives, and never know this was here. We have included a link to Mine Falls Trail maps (visit link)

Here is a little bit of info on the Gatehouse:
Located approximately one mile west of the convergence of the Nashua and Merrimack Rivers in downtown Nashua, Mine Falls Park has been the focus of a recent U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-initiated aquatic ecosystem investigation. Water entering Mill Pond is diverted from Nashua River through a gatehouse, and also enters Mill Pond and Nashua Canal through fourteen storm water outfalls, six of which drain into the pond. The Nashua Manufacturing Company Gatehouse was built in 1886 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Please be discrete as this is a popular area for fishing, hiking, and boating! Also, please take care to rehide cache!
