Good road into the cache. Check out the nearby Butte Falls on the way. There is one nearby cache on the way into this one. Great local history nearby and excellent scenery of the creek and local woods. Not recommended for small children or if you are afraid of heights.

This location could not be beat. Honestly this is what makes geocaching great. I took several pictures on my cell phone and I hope they turn out. Thanks for the cache!

Deedy grabbed onto me both going up and down the one ramp. We really enjoyed the area and the view of the creek. Thanks for the fun

We finally got to do this cache today. Last time we ventured down this road there was too much snow and we were afraid of getting stuck! Today was beautiful and since we were early for the Geocaching Party we decided to give it a try. The flume was really safe to cross but sadly the hand rail on the entrance ramp is gone and that was a little scary since it was wet and slippery. But we were very careful and made out way up and down it. Found the cache right where the hint said it would be. Signed the log and left a horse. TFTH!!

#2673. TNLNSL. Out with KCSearcher crew (my wife, daughter #3 and her fiancé, grandsons #2 and #3). This was #4 of 4 found today. Just finished lunch at the nearby cafe. We always come here once a year while vacationing at Fish Lake to get at least a milk shake. While they went wading in a pool upstream, I decided to go after this one. Good coordinates and hint. Quick and easy once on site. The T2.5 is deserved if you did it across the forest floor like me. I took the T1.5 back. Read prior logs. Agree that D rating might be high. A D1.5 is what I would rate this. Interesting to see the flume force a good amount of water OVER the stream down below. Cache is in good shape. Elevation 2359 feet. Weather about 90 degrees. Sunny, shady, slight breeze. TFTH
