The "Natives" call it "The Flume".
Good road into the cache. Check out the nearby Butte Falls on the
way. There is one nearby cache on the way into this one. Great
local history nearby and excellent scenery of the creek and local
woods. Not recommended for small children or if you are afraid of
heights.

October 24, 2009 by Dustydew (1351 found) We finally got to do this cache today. Last time we ventured down this road there was too much snow and we were afraid of getting stuck! Today was beautiful and since we were early for the Geocaching Party we decided to give it a try. The flume was really safe to cross but sadly the hand rail on the entrance ramp is gone and that was a little scary since it was wet and slippery. But we were very careful and made out way up and down it. Found the cache right where the hint said it would be. Signed the log and left a horse. TFTH!!
