Geocache Description:

Available in winter.

Svarttjernshøgda, the highest hill in the Oslomarka region, 716,6 meters above sea-level.

There is a wooden tower on the top, lifting you above the spruce forest.
A visitors book inside a solid, fixed box on the top of the tower. That is the cache, there is no other cache box installed.

This visit gives you a splended view over Nordmarka and Krokskogen on a clear day. To the north you will have the two next highest hills:
Lamannshaugen, 705,5 m. (not the trig. point)
Helgehaugen, 704,5 m.
and Juthaugen 690 m., no 7 in range.

In the east, no 8, the bald Kollern 688,5 m.
