Geocache Description:


I like to hike, mountainbike and run at night. It's not all that tough with good lights. Before I had lights I used to run on the trails at night during the full moon. The light isn't as good, but I made due. One night I was running down the Santa Rosa Trail under the rising full moon when I approached the knoll across the trail from where this cache is located. I spotted a very large mule deer with a full rack of antlers atop the knoll. At one point the moon was directly behind the large buck making for an incredible sight. The buck ran off as I neared and he ran past the hiding place of this cache.

The cache is a large ammo box hidden on a game trail off of the Santa Rosa Trail. As usual, always use caution when looking in bushes and under rocks.
