To reach this cache travel though Coolah Tops, from the west, on
The Forest Road to the Eastern End (the Jemmey Creek Road has been
closed) then walk from Breeza Lookout to Shepherds Peak. The road
is listed as passable by 2WDs but a 4WD might be better and it is
locked up after rain. The final part of the walk is only for steady
climbers (but then I (Mix) made it). With a vantage point on par
with any in NSW, the cairn just past the cache has 359 degree view
back into Coolah Tops and the surrounding area.
Be very careful it’s a long way down, and not all the rocks are
that securely fast.
