A good friend of mine who grew up in Stillwater brought me here last fall. When I told him about Geocaching this was the first place he thought of and it is awesome.
Legal parking is availible just up 95. Notice the signs when parking here, unless you have a boat trailer only some of the spots are for you:
N 45° 04.883
W 92° 47.937
The only good way in to the cache site is to enter the woods from 95 at:
N 45° 04.742
W 92° 48.216
Given the final coordinates you may be tempted to take another route in - please don't. There is a natural barrier blocking the cache from the other way in to the area. This is the easiest and most scenic way. This is also the only way in where you will remain on public land the whole distance to the cache.
On the walk in you will have to cross the stream a couple of times. This and the steep hills account for the terrain rating.
Please help in trashing out. I was able to get a lot picked up when I placed it, but I'm sure you will see more.
Believe me, this one is worth the effort!
