Historic Viola School is a piece of history that is being preserved by the Viola Community Club.
This one room schoolhouse was built in 1894. It held it's last class in 1939. It is located in the beautiful valley of Viola, just up hill from the Clear Creek.
This cache has been placed with permission from the Viola Community Club. Please do not disturb the school building. The Community Club are donating their time and money to restore and maintain this wonderful historic building in rural Clackamas County.
This cache will be released on Geocaching's 8th Anniversary on May 3rd at the Let's Celebrate - Geocaching Event! (GC1A1EQ).
