On a knoll above the Pacific Crest Trail - some might find it too much of a climb.
The cache is a large white plastic jug. It's hidden under a tree branch and schist (also known as flat shiny granitic rocks). The view from up here is spectacular with Wright, Pine, Dawson, Harwood, Baldy, Iron, Ross, and Baden Powell (from left to right) filling the horizon. Park at the Inspiration point parking area to access the PCT, head west on the PCT and follow your gps arrow to the top of the first knoll.
