The Omaha Public Library's Benson Branch is hosting the Nebraskache March Meeting & Workshop.
11:00 - 12:30 Pot-luck lunch and business meeting for Nebraskache members
12:30 - 2:00 (OPEN TO THE PUBLIC) Workshop on GPS and GeoCaching basics, discussions on latest equipment and Travel Bugs. Real-time projection of GeoCache computer access is planned. Please bring your GPS, even if you don't know how to work it -- we'll help you!
2:00 - ? GeoCaching opportunities in the Benson area. Planned: a Benson landmark tour cache by car, one on foot, maybe more surprises. Bring Travel Bugs, if you have them, for the traditional summit meeting and photograph before they go their own way.
There will be something for GeoCaching veterans as well as anyone interested in satellite navigation and/or GeoCaching. Those involved in the administration of public lands at the local, state or federal level are also encouraged to attend.
