With these caches we're going to travel into the myths and the history of Greece that has begin 6000 years ago.

Epidavros

About the place : The ancient Theater of Epidaurus is found in Argolida, in his archaeological place of Asklipieio. Asklipieio of Epidaurus was from her big Pan-Hellenic holily antiquity. Belongs in Epidavros, small city of classic years where we found in the near, western coast of Saroniko Gulf , in the place of current settlement of Old Epidavros. The buildings of Asklipieio, temples, athletic installations, theatre, baths etc unfolded in one narrow, mountainous valley surrounded from mountains that leave only an exit to the sea
According to the prevailing scientific opinion it was manufactured in two distinguishing phases. First is placed in the dues the 4th eg century, about her end first period of acne of Asklipieio that was accompanied from important building growth. Second coincides with the means of the 2nd eg century.

It's worth to visit the archaeological place that is one of more known and visited of the Helenistic Period. There is a wide free parking where you can stay for picnic and also a cantine where you will find something to dring or to eat. There are also stores with souvenirs and a cafe bar.

Cache Details :

  • In the given coordinates there is a yellow mail box that in one of its sides have a bronze metallic sign with a four digit number and a character. Multiple the 4 digit number by 54 and add the number 623. Subtract the result from CSN number of cache Tiryns. The result is the North Coordinates.
  • East Coordinates. Degrees are the sum of the 4 digit number of the mail box. The minutes are the result of the division of the mailbox number by 989 and the fraction of minutes are the last 3 digits of the CSN number of cache of Tiryns plus 1.

The cache is a Tupperware box wrapped in a plastic bag and initially contain:

  • declaration in English and Greek
  • a logbook and pencil
  • small dish and cup decorated with Winnie the Pooh
  • a small compass
  • And some more items to trade
Note :Record and keep the number (CSN number) that is written in the first page of the logbook and also in the bottom side of the tupperware. It will be useful for the next caches of this series.
