Schomberg Park is an Iron County park that features camping and an ATV/snowshoe trail. Layman Creek runs through the park and much of Iron County is bogland, so be sure to have insect repellent with you. Such habitat is fragile and sensitive, playing host to nesting neotropical migrant birds and plant life, so please remain on the trails as you explore the area.
There is a $2 daily access fee for park use, so take advantage of this location and have a picnic while you're here. The cache can be accessed from either parking location. Please don't try parking on highway 51. You'd be trampling the sensitive habitat protected here. Practice principles of Leave No Trace.
