Mister Greenthumb and Sunshine: Found out tonight that the DNR has removed the tree where the cache was hidden. A major construction project is going on to solve the problem of lake water leaking under the dam. The cache will be back sometime after the project is completed.

Geocache Description:

Every time we fish or take a pontoon boat ride we all look for cache hiding spots. We finally came up with one that test your stamina in one way or another. The posted coordinates will take you to a sign that will have some numbers on that you will use to solve the puzzle. The sign is on private property and can only be viewed while on the lake. This is an ideal cache for a kayak. Any other watercraft will do or you can wait until winter and walk or snowmobile across the ice. It could also be done by wading in the 3' maximum depth water, but you would have a strenuous walk of well over a mile all total. Add the four individual numbers in the date on the sign and multiply that number by the third number in the date. Now add that number to both the north and west decimal minutes of the coordinates below. The final can also only be reached by water. Emma helped us hide the final and when it comes to hiding caches she is not as sweet as she looks. Did I mention that she is a tree climber?
