The Elves have finally joined the ranks of the legion of geocachers who have hidden a cache near a shopping center. And we are very proud of our effort.
Pittsburgh's many fine shopping centers are underrepresented in geocache hides, when compared to other urban areas. This is a great tragedy. One such forlorn cacheless shopping center is Quaker Village, nestled between Route 65 and Beaver Avenue at the border of Edgeworth and Leetsdale. It is a quaint little shopping center which deserves a cache.
Is it hidden by a loading dock? Perhaps on an electric box? Or maybe a guardrail? What about the ever popular lamp post skirt? Will you catch a fine whiff of restaurant dumpster? Visit and find out. You may be pleasantly surprised!
