Geocache Description:

There was green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
The loveliest of all was the unicorn

"There was green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
The loveliest of all was the unicorn." The Unicorn Song by the Rovers

This is cache is for Wally (AnniePTigger's son & Magneato's brother). Its located on the mighty Springville Orieles Sports Complex. The eight man football team that plays near here has had a really good couple of years. You should try and catch a game its fun and unusual to watch. Many memories take place for our family in this area. Wally & Rich (RichRates) played football and baseball here. Jodie (Rex22lbs) played softball and that went to state twice. Some of my (Magneato) best memories are in this area. Track and Field Day was the very best day of the entire school year. It was always held just days before school got out for summer. We ran 50 & 100 yard on the football field. I'd kick off my shoes and give it all that I had. I'd come home with blue ribbons. Even our relay team smoked everyone. I was never great academically speaking....but track and field day was the day that I really shined. Our Dad never misses a meet, game, or an event...he was always there cheering for us. Annie PTigger worked for the school many years and put a lot of pride into her work. Now Ben (RascalShorts) goes to school here and is in the 1st Grade this year. He loves Track and Field day too.

The dynamic mother/daughter geocaching  team AnniePTigger and Magneato (formerly known as SkeeterNSpeedy) are back in the game. After a 3 to 4 years in hibernation we’ve dust ourselves off and located the plastic tub of geocaching treasures, hides, secrets and we are hitting the town of Springville. Come visit Springvile Iowa our home town and enjoy the sites, parks, shops, restuarants, and charm. Our goal is to place enough caches for you to spend the day in our little town. We have asked and gotten the permission from City Hall, business owners, and even the school….making Springville a cache friendly town. We hope you enjoy your adventure while you’re here.
