This cache is located in the awesome Tillamook State Forest off of the Historical Trail. It can be reached by driving west out of Portland on HWY 26 to HWY 6 which goes to Tillamook. Best place to park would be at Rogers Camp area. Since I do not want to retire this cache, from memory this cache is 20' or so from the bridge, behind a stump on the creek side please look at the photos I have posted.
Cache is in a Camouflage tape covered 7 X 9" plastic snap-lock container and includes a logbook, pin, and a couple plastic toy figures. It is located very close to the trail and well hidden with some natural covering. I have included a link to the trail map. The hike to the cache is approx. 1.25 miles from Rogers Camp and goes through some nice forest to an awesome area along small river. Terrain is fairly easy with a few short steep hills on dirt and gravel. I like to mountain bike this trail and if your into it you can make a great 9 mile loop on the Historical Trail.
