"LION OF AMFIPOLIS"
One of the most important funerary monuments, not only of Amfipolis but of the whole of Macedonia. Standing by the west bank of the Strymon river, near the old bridge, on a conventionally restored pedestal, on the precise spot where the scattered pieces of it were found.
