Geocache Description:

A regular cache in a spot with some fantastic views.

I came to this spot by accident when I was looking for a different cache but didn't have a cache with me so didn't hide a cache then. When I saw Kablooey's nearby secret trailhead cache I made sure to grab a cache before heading out. The trail is pretty steep from the secret trailhead but not as bad if you take the trails from inside the park (the parking at the secret trailhead is free). On a clear day, the views from up here are amazing and there are some benches to sit and enjoy the views.

The cache is a quart sized plastic jar painted green. The cache is close to the edge of a steep hillside, making this one not so suitable for kids (and earning the 3.5 terrain rating). Please re-hide the cache so that it isn't immediately visible. There is a small trail through the bushes leading directly to the cache. There is a lot of poison oak in the area but none near the cache. There is no need to climb down the steep hillside to spot the cache. I had a solid lock on 10 satellites and had an EPE of 10 feet. I took a 5 minute averaged reading.
