Don't let the distance on a map fool you--it is quite a drive to this cache. The roads to Atlanta are in good condition, although they are narrow in some spots. It is about 2 hours from the Edna Creek turnoff and about an 1.5 hours from Featherville via Rocky Bar.
Atlanta is an 1860s gold mining town located in the Boise National Forest. A Boise artist has done extensive work to restore multiple structures in Atlanta. We visited this town as a part of a Passport in Time (PIT) volunteer archaeological project with the US Forest Service (see (visit link) for details).
Part 1: Once you find the first part of this multi-cache (located at the coordinates listed above), you will need to identify what part the Chinese made up of the Idaho Territory's population by 1870.

The Cache is in a small 4" x 3" white plastic container. The original items are as follows:
