+++ Raubüberfall auf den Steuereintreiber des Grafen Heinrich von Lemberg. +++
Am Dienstag Abend wurde der Gräfliche Steuereintreiber Zinsius und seine Eskorte Opfer eines dreisten Raubüberfalls. Die Kolonne war gerade mit den Monatseinnahmen auf dem Rückweg in die gräfliche Schatzkammer, als ein schwer bewaffneter Räuber aus dem Gebüsch am Straßenrand hüpfte und die Männer bedrohte. Angesichts dieses Schreckens fiel der gesamte Trupp wohl vor Angst in Ohnmacht und als die Männer wieder aufwachten, war die Kiste mit den Einnahmen verschwunden.

Da die üblichen Verdächtigen solcher Schandtaten - Messer Jocke, Knüppel-Heinz und Schlitzer-Ede - bereits vor der Ankunft des Steuereintreibers vorsorglich verhaftet und eingekerkert wurden, tappt der Sheriff noch bei den Ermittlungen im Dunkeln. Der Graf meinte bei unserem Interview, ohne diese Einnahmen müsse er wohl schon bald am Hungertuch nagen und verspricht jedem, der ihm den Fundort des erbeuteten Schatzes nennt einen Anteil des Inhalts.

Der Überfall hat sich in der Nähe von N 49° 10,295 E 07° 40,276 zugetragen.
Vielleicht weiß der dort ansässige Jäger (-> 1. Microcache) etwas darüber zu berichten...
Ihr müsst dazu dem Weg mit der Nr. 4 folgen.

Das Amt des Sheriffs hat im Folgenden bereits eine Liste der Hauptverdächtigen für euch zusammengestellt (siehe unten bei den Fotos). Diese Liste müsst Ihr euch ausdrucken und mitnehmen!

Eure Pferde könnt ihr bei N 49° 10,451, E 07° 39,847 abstellen (Burgparkplatz Lemberg).
Habt besonderes Augenmerk auf die Geomuggels, da der erste Teil des Wegs bei schönem Wetter ziemlich stark frequentiert wird.
Die Endkoordinaten liegen bei N 49° 10.XXX E 07° 40.YYY, wobei XXX die drei ersten Ziffern und YYY die letzten drei Ziffern am Schild des Täterporträts darstellen.

Anleitung:
Dieser Cache besteht aus 6 Microcaches (in Filmdosen) und 1 Hauptcache
Die Streckenlänge beträgt etwa 4 km.
Sinn ist es, durch Zeugenaussagen (6 Stück in Microcaches versteckt) aus einer Liste von Verdächtigen den richtigen herauszusuchen, bzw. diejenigen mit Bleistift!! wegzustreichen welche nicht in Frage kommen.
Der wahre Täter liefert die Grundlage für die Endkoordinaten (Hauptcache).
Tipp: Notiert euch den wichtigen Teil der Zeugenaussagen, es könnte euch später bei euren Ermittlungen noch von Nutzen sein. Die Reihenfolge ist auch wichtig - Wer kann es nach der letzten Zeugenaussage nur noch sein (Einleitung lesen)?
...der Rückweg erfolgt weiter über den Weg Nr. 4 bis zum Parkplatz.
Wer gerne möchte kann im Anschluss noch die Burg Lemberg besuchen – Es gibt dort eine Burgschenke und eine grandiose Aussicht.

The Great Coup

+++ The Robbery of the Tax-Collectors of Count Henry of Lemberg. +++
On Tuesday evening, the Count’s tax-collector Zinsius and his escorts fell victim to a brazen act of thievery. The group was on their way back to the Count’s treasury with a month’s worth of collected taxes, when a group of heavily-armed thieves sprang out of the bushes on the edge of the road and threatened the men. In face of this life-threatening attack, the entire group fell into a state of unconsciousness and when they awoke, the chest with the entire income had disappeared!

Because the usual suspects of such acts - Johnny-the-Knife, Henry-the-Club, and Eddie-Slicer - were already under arrest before the arrival of the tax-collectors, the Sheriff is still tapping in the dark with his investigations. At the time of our interview, the Count despaired that without the tax income, we would all be facing starvation, but promised that whoever could give him the whereabouts of the treasure would be rewarded with a part of its sum.

The robbery took place in the vicinity of N 49° 10,295 E 07° 40,276.
Perhaps the hunter in the area (-> 1. Filmbox/MicroCache) knows something...
You should follow path number 4.

The Sheriff’s office has already put together a list of the ususal suspects for you (look at the Hint - Links on this site). Please print it for field use.

You can hitch your horses at N 49° 10,451, E 07° 39,847 (Burgparkplatz Lemberg – Parking-lot Ruin Lemberg). Watch for the Geomuggles along the first part of the way, which is usually frequented in good weather.
The final coordinates are N 49° 10.XXX E 07° 40.YYY, whereby XXX are the first three numbers, and YYY are last three numbers on the culprit’s portrait.

Instructions:
The cache consists of 6 microcaches (in filmboxes) and 1 main cache.
The entire route is roughly 4 km.
The trick is through the accounts of the eye-witnesses (hidden in the 6 filmboxes), to minimize the list of usual suspects through process of elimination, and delete those with a pencil who no longer come under suspicion.
The true culprit delivers the final coordinates for the main cache.
Hint: Take good note of the important part of the eye-witnesses’ accounts, they could be used as a vital part of the investigation. The order is also of importance – Who remains after the last eye-witness account (read the directions)?

... the journey back is along path number 4 which leads to the parking-lot. Those who still feel fit can visit the Castle of Lemberg for refreshments and a beautiful view of the forest.

Vol des Impots

Attention! Le percepteur du comte Henri de Lemberg était attaqué et dévalisé. Le mardi soir, le percepteur comtal, Zinsius, et son escorte etaient victime d´un brigandage très effronté. La colonne, en retournant avec les impots mensuel au trésor comtal, étaitmenacé par un brigand qui avait été sauté dehors d`un bocage. Tous les hommes s`evanuissaient de peur et en s`éveillant la caisse avec les impots était disparue. Quelques personnes suspects, Messer-Jocke, Knüppel-Heinz et Schlitzer-Ede s` étaient arretés le lundi par précaution, mais la police n`avait pas de succès par les recherches jusque aujourd`hui. Le comte proposait une récompense à ceux qui savaient trouver l`endroit de la cachette.

Le vol se passait pas loin de la chaumière de chasse à N 49° 10,295 E 07° 40,276.
Peut-etre le chasseur sait rapporter quelque chose.

Si vous voulez, vous savez gare les chevaux au parking du château de Lemberg N 49° 10,451, E 07° 39,847.
Faites attention aux Geomuggels! Quelque fois le premier part du chemin est en frequenté très fort.
Les coordinates final sont à N 49° 10.XXX E 07° 40.YYY, destine les premiers trois lettres et « YYY » les derniers trois letrre de l`ecu du coupable.
