Geocache Description:

A red herring is, according to Dictionary.com,  "something intended to divert attention from the real problem or matter at hand; a misleading clue." In trying to find the log of this cache, you may come across red herrings, so that you have to keep looking until you find the real log.  Just for fun, if you would like, let me know how many red herrings you found.

Be careful while looking for the cache. This area sometimes has all kinds of strange creatures around it. A big thank you goes to Whopper & B for one of the containers.  I won the container at Lee!'s Christmas in July event.

Some people have either signed a red herring instead of the log, and some people thought the log was missing, so added one. The log is extremely small, in fact, maybe the smallest I have ever seen, so be sure you have found the real log and not a red herring.

This cache always has about 50 caches within one mile of it, so it may be in the center of the most concentrated cache area in Topeka. I have found 76 caches within one mile of this cache, although of course, not all of them are still active.
