The former site of a large windmill in Rancho San Antonio, located along the Chamise Trail.
This part of Rancho San Antonio open space was once owned by the Duveneck family ranch. At the nearby plaque, there stood a large windmill used for ranch operations. The land was donated to the Mid-Peninsula Regional Open Space District by Frank and Josephine Duveneck. The windmill was still present ~20 years ago, but it has been removed since then. The cache is a standard ammo box. The initial contents of the cache included some rope, cable ties, packing tape, etc. Feel free to use it to patch up your equipment.
