| "Ez egy átlagos "Small, drive-in
cache". A láda önmagában nem különleges, csak azért van, hogy
elhozzon ehhez az érdekes völgyhöz, és a borospincékhez. Kérlek
légy óvatos, mert sok vendég lehet a Csárda közelében. |

Nyúl községrol
|
| 13 km-re Gyortol található a 82-es út
mellett. A falu fo érdekességei a homokos utak, a borospincék és a
löszutak ("Szurdikok"). A 82-es út melletti Római Katolikus
templomot Mária Terézia építtette. 1769 és 1775 között épült
Fellner Jakab tervei alapján késo-barokk stílusban. A feljegyzések
szerint Pannonhalmára menet Ofelsége kocsija felborult. A királyno
elrendelte, hogy az ott lévo romos templom helyett újat építsenek
szerencsés megmenekülése emlékére. A szokatlanul nagy templom
berendezéss, a freskók, az oltár és a szószék Dorfmeister tervei
alapján készültek 1786-ban. A falu elismert író-lelkészének,
Domonkos Istvánnak az emléktáblája a plébánia falán látható. A Szuz
Mária a kisdeddel szobor 1701-bol származik. |

A völgy és a borospincék
|
| Az eso által vágott homokko kanyon
egyike a legnagyobbaknak Európában. Egy 600m hosszú, 20-30m széles
hatalmas árok alakult ki. Az út közelében vannak a homokkobe vájt
borospincék. Említésre méltó a 150m hosszú alagút, amit a
középkorban vájtak U alakban a dombba. Különösen festoi látványt
nyújtanak a Vaskapu út löszfalába vájt borospincék és kemencék. A
Napoleoni háborúkkal kapcsolatos legújabb kutatások feltártak egy
300 éves borospincét, ami a Graz-i katonák börtönéül szolgált a
Napoleon elleni háborúban. Nyúl környéke ideális a
szolotermesztésre, ezért a környéken nagy hagyományai vannak a
borversenyeknek. |

About Nyúl
|
| It is located 13 km south of Gyor, by
the road No. 82. The village is interesting mainly because of its
sandy roads, wine cellars and loess roads ('Szurdikok'). The Roman
Catholic church at the road No. 82 was built by Maria Theresa. It
was built between 1769 and 1775 upon Jakab Fellner's plans in late
Baroqe style. According to records, Her Majesty's coach going to
Pannonhalma overturned and out of gratitude she ordered to build a
new church on the site of the destroyed one in memory of the
merciful escape. The furniture, the frescos, the altar-pieces and
the pulpit of the unusually large church were made in 1786 upon
István Dorfmeister's plans. The memorial tablet of István Domonkos,
a parson of the village, acknowledged prose-writer, can be seen on
the wall of the parsonage. The statue of Virgin Mary with the child
is from 1701. |

About the valley of wine cellars
|
| The sandstone canyon valley hollowed
by rain is on of the largest one in Europe. A 600 m long, 20-30 m
wide huge groove was formed. There are wine cellars in the
sandstone wall near the road. Specially mentioned should be the 150
m long medieval tunnel which was hollowed in the hillock in U
shape. Especially the wine cellars and the oven in the loess wall
of the Vaskapu út are very picturesque. Latest researches about the
Napoleon wars brought up that the 300 years old wine cellars had
been prisons of the soldiers of Graz at the war against Napoleon.
The location of Nyúl is ideal for wine growing that is why wine
competitions have become a tradition in the region. |

Über Nyúl
|
| Die Gemeinde liegt 13 km von Gyor, an
der Hauptstraße 82. Der Ort ist besonders wegen seiner Sandwege,
Weinkeller und Lösstiefenstraßen interessant. Die
römisch-katholische Kirche an der Straße 82 wurde von Maria
Theresia gestiftet und entstand zwischen 1769 und 1775 nach Plänen
von Jakab Fellner in spätbarockem Stil. Nach der Überlieferung
kippte die Karosse Ihrer Majestät auf der Reise nach Pannonhalma in
Nyúl. Die Kaiserin und Königin verordnete zur Ehre der glücklichen
Fügung, dass dieser Unfall ohne wesentliche Verletzungen abgegangen
war, dass ein neues Gotteshaus an der Stelle der früher
vernichteten Kirche gebaut werden soll. Die innere Einrichtung der
ungewöhnlich großen Kirche, die Fresken, die Altarbilder und die
Kanzel wurden 1786 nach Entwürfen von István Dorfmeister
fertiggestellt. An der Wand des Pfarrhauses ist die Gedenktafel von
István Domonkos, einem der Dorfpfarrer zu sehen, der auch ein
hochgeschätzter Schriftsteller war. Eine weitere erwähnenswerte
Sehenswürdigkeiten ist die Statue "Maria mit dem Kinde" die von
1701 stammt. |

Über das Tal mit seinen Weinkellern
|
| Hier in Nyúl befindet sich mit 600 m
Länge und 20 bis 30 m Breite eine der größten Sandsteinschluchten
Europas, die durch den Regen ausgehöhlt wurde. An der Straße wurden
Weinkeller in die Sandsteinwand gehauen. Erwähnenswert ist auch der
etwa 150 Meter lange Tunnel mittelalterlichen Ursprungs, der in
U-Form in die Tiefe des Hügels gehauen wurde. Besonders die
Weinkeller und Backöfen in der Lössmauer der Vaskapu út sind
interessant. Bei Nachforschungen über die Napoleonischen Kriege
stellte sich heraus, dass die 300 Jahre alten Weinkeller in Nyúl
sich im Krieg mit Napoleon auch als Gefängnis der Soldaten der
Grazer Landwehr verwendet wurden. Die natürlichen Gegebenheiten von
Nyúl ermöglichen einen guten Weinanbau, daher wurden auch
Weinwettbewerbe zur Tradition in der Gegend. |
