Numbers Multi-Cache

• Some reference material at each stage. It might not be obvious at the first stage, but hopefully you'll figure out the underlying theme by the time you find stage 2.
• A writing utensil and some paper. Stages 1-5 are each a different type of urban, parking-lot micro. There are no log books to sign at stages 1-5, but you might need to write down the clue at each stage.

• Container: It is a standard ammo can.
• Location: It is hidden along the network of paved walking trails in Ashburn Farms. If you Click here, then you can download the trail maps of the Ashburn Farms trails from the NoVAGO Yahoo page.
• EPE: I placed the final in the summertime with lots of tree cover, so the coords might be off a little. However, when I went back to place the FTF prize in the cache, I let the GPSr average out over two minutes, and the result was only +.001 on latitude and +.002 on longitude from the coordinates provided in Stage 5.
• Terrain and Child Access: In the winter, I anticipate this will be a 1.5 star terrain with very easy access. In the summertime, there is some growth (ankle-high) you have to step around, and there is some poison ivy, so please be careful with your children in the spring and summer. Pay attention to how the trail curves - you'll find it's a little clearer if you approach from the west.
• Parking: There are several access points to the network of trails from various roads around the cache. There is no need to cross any private property to get to the cache. If nothing else (and especially if you have kids), just park at the "Dinosaur Park" (Ashburn Park) at the end of Partlow Road off of Ashburn Road. It's not a long walk from Dinosaur Park to the cache. (Just be prepared - your kids are going to want to stay and play on the playground a while!)
• Swag: The ammo can is stocked with a few German good-luck pigs, an assortment of toys like some squishy balls, light-up balls, and gliders.
• FTF prize was an NGA coin (not a trackable geocoin, just a cool coin). Congrats to Rufnredy on FTF! I also placed one of the new coveted Green Jeep TBs in there - please trade up, trade even, or don't trade.
