Geocache Description:

I have been officially caching for a year now and this cache is to commemorate what I have learned in that first year. I am amazed that I have been living in Carson City for 15 years and there is so little I have seen, or taken the time to notice in this town before caching. Since I have started caching, I have been led to many interesting place, learned a lot of local history, and discovered facts about the area that I never knew of.

I'm sure all the locals know where Mills Park is, but do you know everything that is in Mills Park? Or the little bits of history that are here? I sure didn't until I started researching this puzzle. By completing this puzzle, you too should know a little bit more about the history of Mills Park.

As for the puzzle, there are 5 stops along this puzzle route, including the starting point and the final stop. The coordinates that are given is the starting point, or stop #1. For Stop #2, I call it the “Circle Of Dirt”. You'll understand it better when you get to those coordinates. The next two stops are labeled Stop #3 and Stop #4. If I gave them a name, it would probably give away their locations. To find the final hiding spot (Stop #5), you will have to answer questions from the previous 4 stops. All 5 points are in Mills Park so if your math gives you coordinates that are not in the park, you made a math error somewhere. There are 19 questions that need to be answered to fill in the 24 digits needed to get the coordinates for the Stops 2 thru 5. I've tried to make the questions as clear as possible without giving away the answer. There are no hidden meanings in the questions, just some addition and subtraction problems to solve. Some of the questions may be repeated, some may be the same but numbers have to be reversed, so you'll need to read each question carefully. You will need to solve the last 3 digits of both the North and West coordinates for each stop. Finally, I put a little $$ for FTF as a little incentive to give this a try. If there are any questions, send me an e-mail and I'll point you in the right direction.
