Geocache Description:

Come one or come all it is time for the annual Fall Picnic once again! The 2010 SLAGA FallPicnic is going to be held on 10/10/10 at the Corporate Picnic Shelter in St. Louis County's Queeny Park!

The park has lots of things to offer with plenty of trails and caches, along with a large playground, sand volleyball court (near the shelter), horseshoe pits (near the shelter), and lake for fishing (next to the shelter) and restrooms (next to the shelter)!

Lots of new caches have been placed in the park over the past few weeks feel free to bring a bike or horse to help you get around the park!

By the way there is going to be a 10/10/10 coin being made for the event
ONLY 100 of the 10/10/10 event coins will be minted!! So in order to ensure that everyone who wants one get one there will be a limit of One (1) coin per Geocacher. Once everyone has one, if there are any left over, you may come back for a second one. we are NOT taking reservations. If you want a coin, I suggest that you arrive early (but not before set up is complete). Crowesfeat30 and Strider will be in charge of the design and sales of the coin



FOOD

  • SLAGA will provide the meat, condiments, plates, cups and utensils. We ask that you bring a side dish or soda/ice to share. This year we will have Brats, Hot Dogs, and BBQ Ribs, yes I said RIBS!!! We will even have a couple veggie burgers for the non-meat eaters!!!
  • The prices will be Adults $5.00, kids 5-12 $2.00 and kids 4 and under are free.
  • Please let us know that you will attend ASAP so we know how much food to purchase.

    SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
    • Registration; Begins at 9:00 am
    • Group Picture to be taken when sufficient gathering of attendees are available
    • Lunch: Begins at 1:00 pm
    • Silent Auction: Closes at 2:30! All Silent auction purchases paid for immediately upon announcement of successful bidders
    • Geocacher Bingo: 9:00-2:30 winner will be annouced during awards presentation
    • Poker Run: 9:00-2:30 winner will be annouced during awards presentation
    • Closest to the Pin:9:00-2:30 winner announced at awards presentation
    • Annual Membership Meeting will take place at 3:00 sharp! The new Slaga officers will be announced and afterward the Awards Presentation will begin
    • 50/50 Drawing and Premium Member drawing will be held after the award presentation. You must be present to win the 50/50 drawing, but do not need to be present or attend for the premium member drawing!
