1. Did you have a long day hiking some great trails with a bunch of “Crazy Cachers” in the beautiful Sam Houston National Forest, and you're not quite ready for the fun to end?
2. Maybe you didn't hike, but would still like to spend the evening with that bunch of "Crazy Cachers" and listen to the stories they'll have from hiking trails all day?
If your answer is "Yes" to either question, then come join us around the campfire and we'll roast some hotdogs, talk about all the fun we had hiking that day, and make you wish you had joined us earlier!
The posted coordinates should put you at Camp Site #2 on the Sweetgum Loop of the Cagle campground. Cagle is located west of New Waverly on the south side of FM-1375.
We’ll start the campfire around 5:30 - 6:00 pm and start roasting some “dawgs” when the fire gets right.
Since we don’t want to disturb the “Muggle Campers” we'll probably end this shindig around 9:30 - 10:00 pm.
We'll bring all the wood we need for the campfire. We'll also furnish plenty of hot-dogs, buns, mayo, mustard, and ketchup for everyone that logs a "Will Attend" prior to noon Friday 2/20/14. If you don't log a "Will Attend" until after noon on Friday, you may want to bring something with you to eat, just in case!
Everyone needs to bring their own drinks. If anyone wants to bring chips, stuff for s'mores, etc. it will surely get eaten!
For those not camping, there is a $5 per carload Day Use Fee.
