We believe our ancestors, the ancient Druids, worshipped at Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain in England nearly 4000 years ago. It has long been a mystery as to how these large stones came to be placed as they are. Could mere mortals have done such a thing so long ago? Or possibly, aliens?

Several years ago, we noticed in the eastern part of Long Beach, California, the appearance of several monoliths which may be the beginning of Stonehenge-West. We suspect there may have been some alien influence that brought the monoliths to this location.

A cache has been strategically hidden in the Stonehenge-West area in hopes of gathering clues to this strange phenomenon. Perhaps, you can visit this site and decide for yourself if man may have been at work or, if indeed, aliens are responsible for what you see.

Metered parking is available very close by (25 cents for 9 minutes, 2 hours maximum) but may be tough to come by on weekdays. 1-hour parking is available in nearby residential area (.15 miles to the South, watch out for street sweeping on Thursday or Friday afternoon). Muggles could be a problem, more likely on weekdays.

Micro, log only. Bring your own writing instrument. Carefully replace cache to minimize muggle detection. Cache spins open.

Sacagawea dollar for first to find.

The Team was back in the Long Beach area today and we found time to grab a couple caches. Plenty of metered parking nearby and not a muggle around on this Saturday morning. Finding the cache was easy peezy, we signed the log and replaced the cache back where it was found. Your cache is doing find, the log was dry. The attached photo's depict Chango boy at Stonehenge-West and the other is of Chango boy at the real Stonehenge when we visited England last month. Thanks Druids for the smiley.
