Geocache Description:

Flavor description
Marjoram is a member of the mint family and is closely related to oregano. Its flavor is sweeter and less intense than oregano’s and has a light mint taste. The light green leaves are commonly used in meat dishes.

How to use
Marjoram tends to lose its flavor when cooked for a long time. It is best to add marjoram towards the end of a dish’s cook time.

This cache is located in one of Portage la Prairie's downtown greenspaces. The city has been doing a wonderful job of recovering and beautifying these kinds of spaces.

The cache is a camoed marjoram jar and still has some of that lovely minty fresh scent. Go ahead. Stick your nose in it!

Nothing but a log sheet. Bring your own pencil, and a coffee or some lunch. Sign, then sit and enjoy the landscaping of this wonderful little park.

This cache was created to add to the number of QUALITY caches hidden in Manitoba. It is an official cache in the MBGA Cache Splash event.
Category 14: Place a TCDNMB (Trans Canada Highway Manitoba) or a YLHDMB (Yellowhead Manitoba) cache.
