At the Monte Smith hill you can find the Acropolis of the ancient city of Rhodes. Also there are ruins of the temple of Zeus and Athena Polias, the Apollos’ temple, the theater, the ancient stadium, the Nymphaea cave sanctuaries, the Hellenistic house and also a Palatial building. Also there is a more hi-tech area, with antennas of all kinds, where I hide the cache.
Once you find the cache and you leave your login mark, enjoy the view of the surrounding area.If you turn your eyesight north-east, you will see part of the higher buildings of the medieval city of Rhodes. If you turn north, you will see the countless hotels and buildings of the new city of Rhodes, with the Aquarium at the most northern part of the island. The sandy beach is always full of tourists during the hot days of summer. If you look south-west, you can see a big part of the island up to the area of the airport.
